High Performance
ion4e is a cloud-managed 2x2 Access Point, designed for outdoor use cases. It provides a simple, cost-effective, and high-performance network solution, which is based on the Qualcomm IPQ4029 chipset. The AP supports 802.11ac Wave 2 with 2x2:2 MU-MIMO. It has concurrent dual-band radios and supports up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz.
Hardware Features
The two-piece enclosure with UV-protected ABS + PC top and bottom body provides years of durability without hampering the performance. It has two in-built radios: - one for 2.4 GHz and the other for 5 GHz, both doubling up and in addition providing wireless intrusion detection and prevention capabilities. The AP is a 2-stream 802.11ac Wave 2 (MU-MIMO) product, with up to 1.27 Gbps dual aggregate data rates, 1 × Gigabit Ethernet port with support for IEEE 802.3af standard.

Roam with Ease
In addition to the IEEE standards, ion4e is also Wi-Fi Alliance certified for Passpoint 2.0. This improves the user experience by offering mobile data offloading and streamlined, enterprise-class device provisioning and credential management for enterprise and other private networks. The entire Wi-Fi Network functions on 802.11s Mesh Technology, which enables Access Points to automatically form a mesh, and provides connectivity in every possible corner. With self-healing and self-optimization functionality, nodes identify the next best hop and connect with it automatically.
Data Protection
It is equipped with an array of business-class security features. The wireless Access Point gives your business full control over access rights with WPA2-Personal, WPA2-Enterprise, and Captive Portal Authentication. Rogue AP detection and prevention helps administrators identify authorized Access Points across the network, while MAC address filtering provides an additional layer of protection.
IP67 Rated
The ion4e series of Access Points is well equipped to cater to extreme environments such as coastal areas, tough terrains like hills and deserts, etc. It comes with an IP67 standard rating and sturdy mounting kit that aid the device’s operation in the harshest of conditions. ion4e has been tested under various operating temperature conditions and can work under conditions ranging from -15°C to 60° C, thus making it a sustainable and robust Access Point.

Access Points can be mounted on walls and poles. There is freedom of movement of the Access Points in both the horizontal and vertical axis for quick & easy alignment even after installation
